Rome: the Eternal City

About two years ago we decided to visit Rome and, in September 2017, we actually did.

It was a marvelous trip, an unforgettable journey.

Rome is a gorgeous city and when you visit this extraordinary city it feels like you get immersed in history and discover an amazing world, full of artistic, cultural and architectonic treasures.

All you have to do is keep an open spirit and allow yourself to be overwhelmed by all these wonders. It can be too much sometimes, believe me, but it is all worth it.

I realized right away on the way from the airport to the hotel that Rome is not an ordinary city and that this trip would be memorable.

It's no wonder it is called the Eternal City, the cradle of civilization. Actually, the reason it is called that way is because, in ancient Rome's time, its inhabitants believed that it would continue to exist regardless of what happened to the world or how many empires arose and collapsed. Till this day, despite the collapse of the Roman Empire, Rome remains an incredible city and remains one of the destinations that attracts more visitors within Europe because of its architectural riches dating back to earlier times. That is why it is and always will be the Eternal City.

In this wonderful city there is always something different to explore. In every street, in every corner there are vestiges of the past, there is art, there is culture, there is beauty. When you are here, you can actually breathe history, art, culture...there is no feeling quite like that, it´s almost indescribable.

I totally recommend a visit to this city.

This was the first time I really planned a trip and it was also the first time I made a personalized guide. You can download it in the download PDF documents page :
