
This is a recipe for an amazing and delicious treat which is also quite easy to make:
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Peanuts, without skin (preferentially without salt)
30 ml Water
80 g Sugar
Put all ingredients in a non-stick pan, place the pan over low heat and bring to a boil, stirring all the time. This process goes through several stages and takes about 20 minutes:
the syrup will start boiling with the peanuts inside and it will be visible the formation of a white foam;
after a while, the syrup will evaporate completely and the peanuts will appear to be dry, it´s important to continue to stir slowly;
the caramelization process begins and by this time you can not stop stirring, otherwise it will burn, if necessary, remove a little of the heat and stir not to burn the caramel.
Put the mixture on a tray or even on a stone greased with cooking oil, let it cool, and separate the peanuts as much as possible, with your hands.
You can store this treat inside a glass jar for several days, but I can assure you it won´t last that long...
